Nest Labs was the smart-home company behind the Nest thermostat, bought by Google in 2014.
What Nest Labs makes
Nest-registered addresses belong mostly to older Nest products: Learning and E thermostats, Nest Protect smoke alarms, Nest Cam cameras and the Nest Secure alarm. Newer Google Nest products generally use Google's own addresses.
What the device on your network probably is
Most likely a Nest thermostat or Nest Protect smoke and CO alarm. Next most likely an older Nest Cam or Nest doorbell.
How to work out which device it is
In the Nest or Google Home app, open the device's settings and technical information to find its MAC address. Thermostats also show it on the unit in the technical info screen.
Should you be worried
Nothing to worry about if you have Nest gear. Some Nest products are cameras, so if you have none, find out which device this is.
